I used this image to feature Brainiac and the multiple file synchronization that he has as a mega-super-computer. If you notice him well enough, you’ll see that he is always connected, even his (its) different versions and galactic scouts are linked to him.
Dropbox is perhaps one of the most successful file management tools up to this date. It’s very easy to use, quick to sync any updates on your documents and it’s free. I got information spread in different devices: a laptop at home and a desktop at work, an iPhone and a iPad (which i barely use), so having all the files synchronized is essential for productivity and to avoid unnecessary stress.
1. Register to Dropbox account (free):
Here is the link for invitation to Dropbox
Register with your most used email account, try to choose a very difficult password, you dont want to put your files at risk of being hacked just for a qwerty password xD.
2. Install Dropbox in your laptop or desktop:
Once your registered, install it on your desktop or laptop, by doing so, you’ll be able to quickly and automatically sync files without even noticing it. Here is the link https://www.dropbox.com/install
3. Keep it on and running:
Keep the Dropbox icon in green, if you see it blue, it’s because is synchronizing your files, usually doesn’t take long unless it’s a great amount of information.
